Eden's Gate
Eden's Gate The later years After their second album's success and numerous shows in the Connecticut area the band expanded their sound by recruiting Russian classical keyboardist Oleg Ginzburg. His versatile style of Pop and Techno quickly formalize their unique sound. Yet, they found themselves in disarray in the spring of 1998 when guitarist George Logan and singer Sue Kaye suddenly quit the band. What made matters worse was that the theatrical hard rock band they established was weening away to a more harder and edgier sound. It was the first time that the band consider replacing theatrical singer Rick Hulswit with a more modern hard rock singer. It was a difficult time for the group as they removed long time singer Rick Hulswit after years of collaboration. Yet, finding a replacement took a lot longer than they anticipated. It was at that time as they regrouped and were auditioning singers that they versed themselves into writing and recorded Eddi's instrumental concept album entitled "Paradise of Dreams" A new soundtrack epic opera that's been Eddi's life long dream to complete and the catalyst to "Death of an Angel" Yet, they had no singer as they desperately search the area until they finally found singer/song writer Dan Delia from Dead Serious to complete their new five piece line up. Now with their edgier / progressive sound they finally found their place and re established their status. They quickly recorded their first EP together at Eden's Gate Studios in Norwalk, CT. entitled "Vol. 4" With the hits of "Second Heart" & "Innocence Denied" Yet, as the late 90's grew, the hard rock / alternative scene was slowly being depleted by the new Rap / Hip Hop scene that affected every rock band on a national level. It was at this time that Dan Delia unfortunately took a hiatus to mend his personal family issues that left them empty and without direction. That was when they met up with Film maker and actor John Merrit from Shotgun Pictures who took a special interest in the project and forged a bond with Eddi to script a new multimedia production to showcase it at the Rich Forum in Stamford. CT. With this new found direction the band was transformed from Eden's Gate to Eden's Gate Productions. They quickly started recording their next album entitled "Death of an Angel" based on Eddi's concept album "Paradise of Dreams." that imprinted their famous showcase album that led to their new multimedia extravaganza. A show that incorporated three theaters into one production by combining a theater stage, a movie theater and a concert theater. The rest is Eden's Gate Production history! Featuring the unforgettable hits, "Is there hope", "Eden", "Take me away", "Everyday World" "I am the Storm" & "Evermore"
